For such a time as this… So that that…

By Lisa Buffaloe

God’s word is amazing. Did you know you were born for such a time as this?

There is a time to be born and a time to die and God determined the times set for us and the exact places that we should live (see Ecclesiastes 3:2, Acts 17:26).

And that’s just part of the amazing picture. With every “for such a time as this” there is a “so that”.

I wanted to share a few truths and passages.

Trials and perseverance are so that you are tested and kept from sinning and the work of God may be displayed in your life. And so that your faith is purified resulting in praise, glory, and honor for God. And so that you may be mature, complete, and not lacking in anything. ~ Exodus 20:20, John 9:3, 1 Peter 1:6, 1 Peter 4:13, James 1:2-4

Let your light shine so that others can see God’s light and receive forgiveness of sins. ~ Acts 26:18, John 3:21

Search for yourself and ponder all the wonderful ways God works for such a time as this and the resulting so that!

Thank You Heavenly Father, that every step I take, every path You lay in front of me is for such a time as this, so that Your purposes may be fulfilled. And Your purposes and plans are the best! Use me for such a time as this, so that You may be glorified.
