2 Chronicles 7:14 ERV
and if my people who are called by my name become humble and pray, and look for me, and turn away from their evil ways, then I will hear them from heaven. I will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Let people live, God gave them the right to do what they want with who they want, it’s called free will. God is watching so you can rest. We, (Christians) are supposed to show each other love, mercy and compassion. That’s how others are to recognize us – by our love. Warn them of the consequences in tender-hearted kindness. Sometimes we need to just walk away and pray instead of giving others a piece of our minds.
Do we really believe God is Sovereign? If so, then why are we constantly complaining about others lifestyles and world conditions?
God has assured us in His word that He is in control! Think on the scripture above, we seem to forget that God is talking to us when he says “turn away from your evil ways”. There are things we do too that God is not pleased with and calls evil, so why bash others? Remember where God has brought you from, you did not change yourself nor can anyone else! God did not call us to be Scribes, Pharisees or Sadducees, he called us to walk in love.
John 3:16-17 AMP
For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.
God’s Got it All Under His Control, so let’s pray that God will help us to obey Him by walking in the Spirit.
Love in Christ, Pat
