My Name Is Grace

My Name Is Grace

By Kacey Danielle

The day you entered the world, your desires were pulling you away.

Your mother sees bright eyes and curls, but your Father sees a price you can’t pay.

Your very first breath, only one step closer to your grave.

You are running toward death. Sin is your master, you are its slave.

You grow older, constantly searching for peace.

You are a soldier, but only end up on your knees.

You keep fighting, but failing all the more.

You just go into hiding; you know you’ve already lost the war.

You close your eyes; you inhale one last breath.

Now you realize, you were destined only for death.

But then…

I reached out and caught you. I lifted you out of the hole.

When there was nothing more you could do, I gave you a new soul.

Now you’ll find peace. You don’t have to fight.

So get up off your knees, just follow the light.

The war has come to an end. Your life has just begun.

Even though you have sinned, I have already won.

There is no need to fear, just keep your eyes set on my face.

I will always be there. My name is grace.

I speak loudest with my hands. I shy away in a crowd, and I hate public speaking- but I have been given a passion for writing. From the time I began forming sentences, God has brought me so much joy from expressing my thoughts through writing. Though simply stated and often inadequate, poetry allows me to find peace in every situation. Whether in awe of His blessings or trusting in Him through trials, writing enables me to place everything back in the Lord’s care. In the end, by His grace, every moment is beautiful.

For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen. – Romans 11:36

World Prayr has chosen to be different, starting with teaching others that the pilgrimage all those who have been brought near to God are on is not one about our focusing on what we are doing, or focusing on our sin or anything we are not doing, but focusing on what Christ did in order for us to know transforming grace. We refer to this message as the gospel of grace. We then live this out as a ministry by serving others through counseling, prayer, and sound biblical teachings.

We also differ from most ministries in another key area, working to live out the message of Philippians 2:4 by aggressively promoting other ministries and churches. As a mission team, World Prayr is working to serve those who are disconnected to reconnect them, one soul at a time, to local bodies of believers.

We refer to our team as an “Ohana” made up of many nationalities spread across the globe and within the Protestant faith.
