What is Grace ~ Audio

God has many qualities and gifts, but of all His qualities none express His character or does He have a better gift than
His grace.

All grace originates with God. Grace can be classified into two main categories. These categories are often classified as
common grace and special or what we might refer to as transforming, saving grace. Common grace is that which everyone
experiences whether they believe in it or not…

What We Believe About Sovereignty

What do we mean by the “sovereignty of God?” Quite simply, to say that God is sovereign is to say that God is God. That there is no other god worthy of praise and worship. No one shall question God or control or prevent Him from accomplishing His will, purposes or plans.

It is within God to kill and bring to life, make nations great and destroy them, bring adversity and prosperity so that all may know He is God. He creates well-being and calamity. Removes and takes down kings…

Dear Future Husband,

I’ve read secular articles and christian’s blogs, and at one point or another, they begin to sound the same when it comes to the whole future husband realm, something like: “Dear Future Husband, I’m waiting for you.”
But I’m not waiting for you.

Waiting implies that my life is, to some extent or another, on hold. It’s not.
In less than 48 hours I will graduate college. It’s thrilling and exciting and terrifying and nerve-wracking all at the same time. In the south especially, it’s said that college is where girls get their Mrs. degree; it’s where they meet Mr. Right or their future husband or whatever your preferred term may be…

Lord, Help Me Walk

blogger-image--358138907By Suzanne Davis Harden

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
“Lord Jesus, help me walk with You
Day by day, in every way,
In my heart, in all I say,
In all I do, oh Lord I pray...

If Not Now – When?

By Jody Neufeld

Random questions for today: How old are you? In that secret place inside of you, how old do you think you will be when you die?

I do not watch television newscasts. I go online & I scan through various online news sites & that is how I keep up with local and world news. I like to choose what I believe is newsworthy to my life. But even with this personal filter, I cannot deny that there is much to keep my prayer life active as I ask for the wisdom and strength of not only world leaders but also my children and grandchildren who will live in this world…

What To Do, Just Move

giphy (1)

By Patrick Badstibner

Sometimes such a question of, “What is God’s will”, will be crystal clear, other times it will feel like we are walking in the dark completely, wondering what in the world are we getting ready to step in or step on.

Knowing the will of God is a question that volumes have been devoted to and this post is surely not the space to exhaust  those volumes. To listen to some, they would have us believe that God will always make it abundantly clear about what his will is, we just have to wait for him to move. To those I would reply, “He’s moving already, why aren’t you?”

World Prayr has chosen to be different, starting with teaching others that the pilgrimage all those who have been brought near to God are on is not one about our focusing on what we are doing, or focusing on our sin or anything we are not doing, but focusing on what Christ did in order for us to know transforming grace. We refer to this message as the gospel of grace. We then live this out as a ministry by serving others through counseling, prayer, and sound biblical teachings.

We also differ from most ministries in another key area, working to live out the message of Philippians 2:4 by aggressively promoting other ministries and churches. As a mission team, World Prayr is working to serve those who are disconnected to reconnect them, one soul at a time, to local bodies of believers.

We refer to our team as an “Ohana” made up of many nationalities spread across the globe and within the Protestant faith.
