Can I know for sure I have eternal life?  Audio

This is a great question, a common one, and yet one that can cause much confusion when answering. The confusion comes from a heart that is really having difficulty grasping the words of Christ when He said “It is finished” (John 19:30). In a world where the sentiment exists that there is no such thing as a free ride, it is indeed hard to grasp that the grace (favor) God gives each of us, to come and accept Christ as our Saviour is freely given, requiring nothing more from us.

Reminder

praise-1-1

By Pat Thacker

In the midst of our trials and tribulations we do feel alone and even forgotten by God! But we must remember God is working things out for us even when we cannot see or understand. Joseph was faithful to God and still ended up in a difficult place, being in the center of God’s will will not keep the pain and suffering away. But God has the answers we need.

Standing On The shoulders Of The Fathers – 13ArthurPink

Theology is broken into two greek words, theos (God) and logos (Word). So then basically theology is the study of a “word about God” or God’s Word or God. You cannot separate the two. Many today will decry the study of doctrine or forming a belief system or knowledge about what and why one believes what they believe about God’s Word.

AGAINST TRUTH

Againsttruth

By Chad West

“Truth is not a matter of knowing this or that but of being the truth.” –Kierkegaard

There’s not much I love more than learning. Maybe writing about what I’ve learned. Turning the ideas over on the page; kicking them around a little to see how much of a beating they can take. Ignorance can be dangerous because I’m apt to believe whatever’s most comfortable. But facts can be dangerous too. I’ve been known to narrow my eyes in a petty search for the slightest wrong to correct. I’ve balled up my hands and punched down those with whom I have disagreed, and it felt like heaven. Like anything good, knowing can be bad.

Psalm 130:5-6 “I am waiting for the Lord to help me. My soul waits for him.
I trust what he says. I am waiting for my Lord, like a guard waiting and waiting for the morning to come.” (ERV)

Entirely Forgiven, I Eagerly Confess; Entirely Forgiven, I Eagerly Forgive

It has been an ancient question: Which comes first, the chicken or the egg? Genesis records God speaking forth birds on the fifth day, and my childhood pictorial Bible shows no eggs in the Garden of Eden. However, I suppose the Sovereign Creator could speak forth an egg that is immediately hatched. Frankly, I am not sure, but at this point I am going with the chicken before the egg, but I hope I do not end up with egg on my face.

World Prayr has chosen to be different, starting with teaching others that the pilgrimage all of those who have been brought near to God are on is not one that is about our focusing on what we are doing, or focusing on our sin or anything we are not doing, but rather focusing on what Christ did in order for us to know transforming grace. We refer to this message as the gospel of grace. We then live this out as a ministry by serving others through counseling, prayer and sound biblical teachings.

We, also, differ from most ministries in another key area and that is working to live out the message of Philippians 2:4, by aggressively promoting other ministries and churches. As a mission team World Prayr is working to serve those who are disconnected and re-connecting them, one soul at a time to local bodies of believers.

We refer to our team as an “Ohana” which is made up of many nationalities spread across the globe and within the Protestant faith.
