We are sinners……..yet we are saved!
Non-believers ask us to “prove” that we are saved………..
to some how “show” them how we know that we are saved.
It has taken most of my life to learn that I need not prove to non-believers anything; that I need not convince them of what I speak. I know now that I cannot change the heart of anyone BUT the fact that I can’t make a horse drink when I lead it to water, does not mean that the water is not there.

I have been thinking about the “church” a lot in the last couple of month. Especially the “American Church.” Many of the main denominations have been lukewarm for quite some time it seems that some have completely departed from the faith.

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
Our faithful God. He lies awake in a higher place. One eye on me, the other on you. I look to the heavens and search for Him and He is there. Is He my reassurance? My safety? My Purpose?
Someone is hurting and feels all alone. Terrible things have happened. The world can be such a cruel place. My heart aches for you, and I am so, so, sorry.
I want you to know you are truly loved. God loves you. He really does.
God’s love is not like human love. There is no imperfection with God. God’s love is pure and clean. His love is patient, kind, is not envious, does not boast, and is not proud.

who are rising in a focused vision to overcome
the challenges and take the risks to
reconnect our broken world.
They do this so others may dare to be different.

How do we find relief when life is crazy; when the pains of life seem to make even putting one foot in front of the other seemingly impossible; when the winds are raging; when it seems we get more wrong than right and when getting up in the morning seems like torture in and of itself.
I cannot answer for you, I can only tell you the things that I find I must keep reminding myself….
