  Driving Force

By Reece’s Rainbow

I’ve been doing this for almost 8 years, non stop, 24/7 for the most part.  I’ve been surrounded by the most incredible warriors, volunteers, and support staff I could have ever asked for.  We all grieve for these children.  Some days it’s the grief that fuels us. Some days it’s anger.

Some days it is hope.  But most days it’s being able to look at 1300+ faces who are FOUND and SAFE that fuels us. Nothing beats seeing these kids home where they belong, even better, to meet them in person!  There are no words to describe the feeling we all get when we can visit together at our annual family reunions.  It’s knowing that if I walk away, if I shut down even for a little while, SOMEBODY goes unserved, unfound.

JIMMY for the Duvall family — IN

By Reece’s Rainbow

Jon and Carly Duvall have been married for 9 years, and have three wonderful children ages 7, 6, and 5. They met at the small Christian school they both attended and got married after 4 years of dating. They live in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where they were both born and raised.

The Duvall’s talked about their desire to adopt early on in their marriage, but ended up having three children very close together and were caught up in the busyness of raising a young family.

  Why Rescue Orphans?

By Reece’s Rainbow

Because of the overwhelming need and because God directs us to do so in scripture:

There is no greater gift, one that goes 3 ways, than to adopt a child, with or without special needs.  You honor God, you are blessed with an angel in your own life, and you change the course of a child’s life forever.

 Be a Prayer Warrior

By Reece’s Rainbow

Matthew 17:20 “I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you”

“The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective”

The Reece’s Rainbow Down Syndrome Adoption Grant Foundation was created on the principles of Christianity and the teachings of Jesus. His command to “defend the cause of the weak and fatherless” is our primary purpose and foundation. He also teaches us that prayer is a key part of our faith, that it is powerful and effective, and that our prayers are HEARD.

World Prayr has chosen to be different, starting with teaching others that the pilgrimage all those who have been brought near to God are on is not one about our focusing on what we are doing, or focusing on our sin or anything we are not doing, but focusing on what Christ did in order for us to know transforming grace. We refer to this message as the gospel of grace. We then live this out as a ministry by serving others through counseling, prayer, and sound biblical teachings.

We also differ from most ministries in another key area, working to live out the message of Philippians 2:4 by aggressively promoting other ministries and churches. As a mission team, World Prayr is working to serve those who are disconnected to reconnect them, one soul at a time, to local bodies of believers.

We refer to our team as an “Ohana” made up of many nationalities spread across the globe and within the Protestant faith.
