We, at World Prayr, pray that just as you believe that God used His mighty POWER “In the Beginning…”; you also BELIEVE that by GRACE He used His mighty POWER to, forever, wash away our sins, when Jesus on the cross said, “IT IS FINISHED”. Be blessed by this powerful book, “Walking in God’s Grace….Practical Answers to Tough Questions”
Enjoy this excerpt from Walking in God’s Grace…
A common saying that is often uttered when someone is going through a time of suffering is “God will not give us more than we can handle.”
I’ve had friends with sinful pasts who feel they have no right to tell their children the correct way to live. Others grew up one way and were so desperate not to have their children live under the same rules and regulations, that they allowed their children to do anything and everything.
Please, please, please don’t allow the enemy to cause you to go to extremes or silence you. If you had a sinful past, you don’t have to share the gory details, but you can share the negatives and the pitfalls because of those sins.
More than any other creation of God, man alone reflects the image of God. We know from the creation record that He created them male and female. All races and nationalities are of this special creation. Thus, God uniquely forms all personalities in His image, deserving of full dignity, respect and love as given through God.
Any deviations or derivatives from the original creation as man and woman are a result of a fallen world and the sin that now encompasses and controls that world.
“19 This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; 20 for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God. James 1:19-20
I don’t know if you guys have noticed or not, but there are a LOT of angry people out there! People are mad about lions, and people are mad that people are so mad about lions. People are mad at Planned Parenthood, presidential candidates, the president, the supreme court, flags, and about a million other things.

I was raised in fundamentalist Christian churches with long lists of rights, wrongs, dos, and don’ts. Often, the list of wrongs extended well past what the Bible actually said was sin, in an effort to build a big gray area to keep kids from getting into the black. I remember one church youth group activity at our local skating rink. A fundamentalist missionary taught that some schools were good and some schools were bad in our area. He of course did this to a group of kids who had pretty much no say in what schools they went to.
And they went to a place called Gethsemane. And he said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” 33 And he took with him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly distressed and troubled. 34 And he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death. Remain here and watch.”[a] 35 And going a little farther, he fell on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. 36 And he said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.” 37 And he came and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not watch one hour? – Mark 14:32-38
Have you ever felt like nobody was listening, that you were alone, that everyone was sleeping…
