Do I need to go to church?

53286abdffd92e43afc9dc8a4e0cb7a6

We, at World Prayr, pray that just as you believe that God used His mighty POWER “In the Beginning…”; you also BELIEVE that by GRACE He used His mighty POWER to, forever, wash away our sins, when Jesus on the cross said, “IT IS FINISHED”. Be blessed by this powerful book, “Walking in God’s Grace….Practical Answers to Tough Questions”

Enjoy this excerpt from Walking in God’s Grace…

Often Hebrews 10:24-25, which says that we should not neglect to come together and encourage each other, is used incorrectly to make people feel guilty if they are not in church every time the doors are opened…

Why Don’t We Think First? For a Change

Sick-manBy Sam Williamson

A couple years ago I had an awful day in the middle of a horrible week in the midst of a bad month. A sniffle turned into post-nasal drip which turned into bronchitis—for the third time in five months. When I inhaled, it felt like shards of glass shredding my lungs.

I canceled everything so I could have some recovery time. But, later, that same day, I ended up with six hours of unexpected, unscheduled, and exhausting meetings.

What We Believe – About The Bible

love-699480_640

We believe the Bible (Scripture) as found in 66 books, considered the “Canon” of scripture, is the revealed Word of God. Several things determine such books, among them being is it authoritative and/or is it prophetic. This is determined by either having the authority of a spiritual leader of Israel and/or an apostle of the church.

Such books must be consistent with each other in revealing truth, being dynamic and received by the early church. We believe God inspired these books, as the Holy Spirit moved men. This inspiration is true and equal to all parts as contained within the original manuscripts, and as a result, they contain no error…

Giving Up and the Gospel

Found this on my camera from the pumpkin patch…pretty much somes up my week.

By Kimm Crandall

(Dug this one up from last year. Have at it.)

I gave up today.

I didn’t want to do it anymore.
You know, the whole Christian walk thing. Trying to be a good mom, trying to do it all well.

Maybe it was the emotions of having watched my husband being taken away in an ambulance last night. After all, watching the one you love the most swell up before your eyes is an alarming experience…

Forgive – Forgiven

1flower-675132_640By Arlene Wallis

This poem was written with my father in mind who passed from colon cancer in 2010. He was always my inspiration seeing things in me that I couldn’t. It took his passing for me to see what he was telling me all along. I love You Daddy..

Where is the gate keeper, who has the key? Is it you? Is it me?

Watching you live your life free while i paced the cage of my mind like a hungry lioness waiting for the moment to make you feel my pain——–my pain…

In The Valley

valley-801739_1280By Patrick Badstibner

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. – 2 Corinthians 9:8

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. – 1 Peter 5:10

Come Hither Valley

Eventually there may one day come a tsunami, a hurricane, a tropic storm, an arctic blast or just quite simply the thorn bushes will grow higher than what we can see over and suddenly we will discover our faith is not enough, our obedience looks more like moldy swiss cheese than an example of…

World Prayr has chosen to be different, starting with teaching others that the pilgrimage all of those who have been brought near to God are on is not one that is about our focusing on what we are doing, or focusing on our sin or anything we are not doing, but rather focusing on what Christ did in order for us to know transforming grace. We refer to this message as the gospel of grace. We then live this out as a ministry by serving others through counseling, prayer and sound biblical teachings.

We, also, differ from most ministries in another key area and that is working to live out the message of Philippians 2:4, by aggressively promoting other ministries and churches. As a mission team World Prayr is working to serve those who are disconnected and re-connecting them, one soul at a time to local bodies of believers.

We refer to our team as an “Ohana” which is made up of many nationalities spread across the globe and within the Protestant faith.
